Christmas Overwhelm

I'm done for the holidays this year. Again they made me look like a green antlered reindeer. Everyone knows Rudolph did not have green antlers. He had a red nose.

Fortunately I'm a good dog and have a lot of patience. I can only put up with so much. I ripped down all the stockings one by one. I found mine and the toys inside prior to Christmas Day. I had the first rope/ball toy destroyed shortly after that. Then I made it for the squeaky dog / octopus. Green stuffing! Squeakers, yes! Oh what fun it is to destroy my toys before the end of the day, ohhh! I had a great time escaping too. The neighbor had to bring me home. Not as bad as Thanksgiving when my friend Axel and I ran through the house, around the turkey table setting and out by the pool. Marley watch out. You are no match for me. HAPPY "ARF" NEW YEAR "RUFF"!

Where Does the Time Go?

I feel like barking out today. Arf, ARF, ARRRFFF, Arf (Translation "Merry Christmas"). Mom and I were making cookies, I was very, very good and she let me lick the batter. Yummy!

You may wonder what has Tyde been doing since June. I had started to work on my T-Shirt project and got stuck. I think my cousin Lauren is going to help me with this. I also have gained weight, swallowed a few non-food items, and have become a strong, competitive swimmer. I now swim the entire point of Sandsprit Park, I think it's like 1/2 mile or so. Olympics here I come.

My mom has plans for me. Why do humans buy ridiculous clothing for dogs! This is my beef today. First off, they don't make a size big enough for the larger figured dogs like me. So what do we get stuck with....Head dresses like Christmas Antlers, tiny Santa Hats, and they squeeze your head so tight, I want to yell STOP this insanity!

Time Off for Good Behavior

Dear Friends,

Yes, I am taking a break from it all.  It's time to play, dig in the sand, swim in the ocean and protect those eyes from UVA rays.  My I Pod needs an update, got any suggestions for some dog gone good music?  How about a coke over here?

Tyde Hard at Work

Thanks to Shelly I now have to really work at this.  I'm used to being lazy most of the time.  (I will improve my image with this photo of me hard at work.)  I am a humble dog, so "idol" is an unknown word to me (but I think I'm liking it).  What am I hard at work at?  I'm going to create a piece of art; that's right I'm a poor, unknown artist, hard at work to help support my family.  Watch for my next blog to get a clue as to what this creation might be.–Love to my Adoring Fans–Tyde
